Partner with SCYS

Working together to secure a better future for young people.

At Swan City Youth Service (SCYS), we partner with people, businesses and organisations who share our commitment to supporting young people to feel safe, connected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

For over 40 years, we’ve worked alongside community, government, and industry partners to deliver real, on-the-ground support for young people across Midland and surrounding areas.

Why Partner with SCYS

SCYS is a safe and inclusive space where young people can connect, feel supported, and build confidence.

We support young people aged 12–25 by providing:

  • A place to belong and be heard
  • Free counselling and wellbeing support
  • Recreational activities that build confidence, skills, and connection
  • Creative opportunities, including music programs where young people can express themselves and share their voice
  • Support to stay engaged in education and learning pathways

While we don’t directly deliver services such as housing or employment, we play an important role in connecting young people with the right support through strong referral pathways across local community services.

Our approach is holistic — meeting young people where they are in their lives and providing the support, connection, and opportunities they need at that time.

When you partner with SCYS, you are supporting real, everyday impact in the lives of young people in our community.

What Partnership Looks Like

A partnership with SCYS is built on shared impact and genuine connection to community.

We work closely with our partners to create opportunities that are meaningful, practical, and aligned with your organisation’s values.

As a partner, you can expect:

  • A clear understanding of the impact your support is making
  • Opportunities for staff engagement
  • Connection to a trusted, community-based organisation
  • Visibility within a well-established local youth service
  • Invitations to events and opportunities to engage with our work firsthand

We also host an annual appreciation event, where we share the impact of our work, celebrate our community, and recognise the contribution of our partners and supporters.

Most importantly, you’ll be part of supporting young people to feel safe, connected, and empowered.

Our Impact

Every day, young people walk through our doors looking for connection, support, and a safe place to be themselves.

Through our programs and partnerships, we:

  • Provide a welcoming space where young people feel they belong
  • Support wellbeing through counselling and connection
  • Create opportunities for young people to build confidence, skills, and friendships
  • Help young people stay engaged in education and positive pathways
  • Connect young people with additional support through local services when needed

Our impact is made possible through strong community partnerships and a shared commitment to supporting young people.
