Lyricz & Lines – Youth Open Mic Night is a youth-led open mic created by young people, for young people. It’s a space to share stories through music, poetry, spoken word, rap, storytelling, or any other form of creative expression.
The event celebrates the Youth Week WA 2026 theme “Strength in Our Stories” and invites young people to perform, listen, connect, or simply be in the room. Whether it’s your first time getting on the mic or you’ve performed before, this night is about expressing yourself in a way that feels right to you.
The night will feature performances developed through the Lyricz & Lines workshops, alongside open mic spots on the night. Performers must be aged 16–25, and the event is open to anyone aged 16+. Friends, family, and community members are welcome to come along and support young people and their creativity.
There will be a sensory space available, as well as free food and drinks. Come as you are, support others, and be part of a night built around young people, creativity, and community.
